Install Your Wallbanger In a Few Simple Steps
Installation is not difficult, but must be done correctly to ensure that Wallbangers are the biggest thing to ever hit your wall.
Allow Product to Adapt to Room Temperature
Before beginning installation, unpack and unroll product, lay it flat, and allow it to sit for at least 90 minutes to adapt to the environment. This will help the chemical properties of the adhesive to adjust to the temperature of the room. Rooms that experience significant temperature changes or periods of high humidity are not good environments for Wallbangers, and we discourage placement in these types of settings.
Start With At Least Two People
Because Wallbangers are huge, we highly recommend having two people available for installation.
Choose the Right Location
Select a wall with a smooth, dry surface. Avoid any textured walls.
Make Sure It Will Fit
Before you start peeling, measure your wall! You'll need an area 50" x 80" for Extreme of Life Size Wallbangers; 38" x 58" for Action Size Wallbangers; and 35" x 40" for Professional Team Crests.
Make Sure the Wall is Dry
Using only a dry cloth, clean the surface of the wall. Do not wet the wall.
Remove From Backing and Apply to Wall
1. Spread out your Wallbanger on a flat surface.
2. If your Wallbanger comes in two parts, begin with the bottom half first.
3. Begin peeling at the top section of the image and carefully move down toward the bottom edge.
4. Next, very lightly place the bottom half of the image onto wall.
5. If necessary, carefully remove image from the wall and reposition.
6. Repeat this process for the top half of the Wallbanger.
7. Carefully align the top section of your Wallbanger with the edge of the bottom half, and smoothly apply the image to the wall, adhering all parts of the Wallbanger as you go.
Smooth It Out
Once your Wallbanger is applied, smooth out any air pockets or wrinkles using the enclosed rubber spatula, working from the center outward. Finish by smoothing along the outer edge.
